Condition Guidelines
Every poster is an original, and most have lived a life before reaching us. We grade each one on the five levels below and photograph every flaw, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
- Like new: never displayed or as good as new. No folds, tears, pinholes, tape or fading; at most the faintest handling mark.
- Excellent: barely used and very well preserved. A tiny flaw is possible (a light corner bump or a faint handling mark), but no tears, pinholes, tape or fading.
- Very good: used but well cared-for, with small imperfections. Original folds for posters issued folded, light edge wear or a few pinholes may be present, with no tears into the image.
- Good: used, with minor visible imperfections, still in collectible condition. Expect folds or creases, small edge tears, pinholes, old tape marks or light fading.
- Fair: used, with significant imperfections. Tears that reach the image, missing pieces or corners, heavy fading, stains or repairs with tape; priced to match.
The exact condition of each piece is described and photographed on its page. If you have any questions about a particular piece, write to us at info@flyposters.gallery
